Loose Maps

I tend toward larger mods complete with a set of maps, gameplay modifications, and new graphics, but I've made a few smaller projects as well. These are one or two maps with minimal changes to the base game.

Castle

Fall 2013

Castle exterior

Ported from Ascension Revolution, my now-abandoned RPG. It's a castle escape sequence, without the scripting and with a bunch of DOOM monsters added. It's not a particularly well made or complex map, but I figured I would release it anyway as a kind of teaser.

Run with Doom 2 and GZDoom 1.8 or newer.

Odyssey of Suck

Summer 2014

Glitchy outdoor scene

Odyssey of Suck was created for a bad map competition. If I remember correctly, it scored seventh place. With that being said, it is more a parody than a purely bad map.

The map consists of several different sections that vary widely in gameplay and visual style. Most of them are deliberately terrible, though the concepts vary from benign and boring to extremely offensive.

Both a fully contest-compliant version and rules-lawyered technically compliant and extremely annoying to deal with version are available. Run with Doom 2 and GZDoom 1.8 or newer.

Club RWBY

Winter 2015

Club RWBY entrance

Club RWBY is a single map from my indefinitely-postponed Life Is Not A Fairytale mod. It is not a RWBY TC, but may be considered inspired by it. This was originally intended to be a singleplayer map but was completed as a deathmatch map. It features a mix of open areas and restricted ones. I don't consider this map well polished but it is fun to play.

This map is intended to be played with Zandronum 2.x, but it will also work on GZDoom 1.8 or later. It should be run on top of Doom 2.
