Metro 2034 was made as a joke gift for one of my friends for Christmas 2013. It's ostensibly a state of the art first-person shooter based on Dmitry Glukhovsky's book of the same name. It's actually a parody game built on Doom and loosely based on the Wikipedia article of the book, with a liberal amount of Stylistic Suck thrown in.
Technically, Metro 2034 is not a Doom WAD at all- it has its own IWAD (an old version of Freedoom) and runs standalone.
This is 2034. World over, and the last survivors live in the Moscow metro. Brown had been killed but Artem Sebastopol station fights against new threats. They rely on the supply of arms that suddenly interrupted! To solve the mystery and return any materials sent to a small group. Welcome METRO 2034, glorious post-apocalpyse adventure! In game you play Hunter, great ranger of metro of Moskva! Is shooter, lots of shooting action and quality cinema! Is base on author of best book Dmitri Glukovsky!
Metro 2034 Redux

Metro 2034 Redux is an improved version of Metro 2034, featuring enhanced level geometry, better weapons, new textures, OpenGL effects, and 3D models. It is the first of hopefully many releases of my old works.
The general layout of the maps have not changed, but new design elements have been added to several of them. Many textures have been changed and some are new entirely. OpenGL lighting effects have been added and most static props are now 3D models. Weapon graphics and sounds have been revamped and the weapons themselves tweaked. The same goes for enemies. The credits sequence is all new, cutscenes have been improved, and the whole thing has generally been cleaned up and polished. Finally, I've updated the Freedoom IWAD, the GZDoom engine, and the custom launcher to much newer ones.
Three different versions are available. The Standalone download includes a cut-down Freedoom IWAD, the GZDoom engine, and the launcher. It does not require anything else to play. The Mod Only version is virtually identical, but does not include Freedoom or GZDoom- you will have to run it with your own engine and IWAD. The Lite version has been cut down to 5MB by using MIDI music and reducing texture variety and quality. It delivers about 90% of the experience with a much smaller file size.
